Moktamee is a creative hub and creative community in Herentals (B). It was initiated in Oct 2020 by Luscinus (*). In very little time, it grew into a vibrant community, renting and occupying two buildings on a former school campus in the city center. Since 2022 it has become an independent non-for-profit. (*) Within the ideology of Luscinus, we dedicate a substantial amount of our professional time to projects we feel have to take place no matter what. Usually without a paying customer asking us to do so. In the past, we’ve (co-)founded and supported organizations such as Creative Ring and Creative Ring Eindhoven because of this. Moktamee is our newest endeavor to give our knowledge and inspiration back to society.
